By accessing or using ChowBenin, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. ChowBenin is operated by ChowBenin Technologies, a company registered in Nigeria, providing food delivery services in Benin Republic.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ChowBenin. By using our services, you represent that you meet this age requirement. Users under 18 should have parental consent to use our services.

3. Account Registration

To place orders, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Our Services

ChowBenin is a platform that connects customers with restaurant partners in Benin Republic. We facilitate:

• Browsing restaurant menus and placing food orders
• Payment processing through secure channels
• Delivery coordination between restaurants and customers

Important: ChowBenin acts as an intermediary. The food is prepared by independent restaurant partners, and we are not responsible for food quality, preparation, or allergen information. Please contact restaurants directly for specific dietary concerns.

5. Orders and Payments

5.1 Placing Orders

When you place an order, you agree to pay the total amount including:

• Item prices: As listed on the restaurant's menu
• Delivery fee: For delivery to your location
• Service fee: To maintain and improve the ChowBenin platform

5.2 Payment

Payments are processed securely through Paystack. By making a payment, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the total order amount.

5.3 Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order if:

• The order has not been paid for yet
• The order is still pending confirmation from the restaurant

6. Delivery

Delivery is handled either by the restaurant or by ChowBenin's delivery personnel, depending on availability. Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on factors such as traffic, weather, and order volume.

7. Refunds

We offer refunds in certain circumstances, including missing items, proven food quality issues, or non-delivery. Refund requests must be made within 2 hours of delivery.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Provide false information or impersonate others
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform
• Harass restaurant staff or delivery personnel
• Attempt to defraud ChowBenin, restaurants, or other users
• Place fraudulent orders or make false refund claims

9. Intellectual Property

All content on ChowBenin, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of ChowBenin Technologies or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

10. Disclaimers

Food Quality: ChowBenin does not prepare food. All food is prepared by independent restaurant partners. We are not responsible for food quality, taste, portion sizes, or allergen information. If you have food allergies or dietary restrictions, please contact the restaurant directly before ordering.

Service Availability: We strive to maintain continuous service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or factors beyond our control.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChowBenin and ChowBenin Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. Continued use of ChowBenin after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
